The region

The organization sought an iconic location for the event. The region of Campos de Cima da Serra Gaúcha has an immense tourist potential and has unique natural beauties and heritage in the whole world. With more than 20,000 km², it is not difficult to choose suitable places for rallying, hiking or walking. The region is one of the coldest in Brazil and the highest point in the state is located, the Pico do Monte Negro, with 1,410 meters of altitude, headwaters of large rivers that form the hydrographic basin of Rio Grande do Sul, the largest canyons and waterfalls in Brazil, the Serra Geral National Park and the Aparados da Serra National Park, a natural monument that inspired the name of the event.

The event proposes to cross a stretch of this region in four days, showing a small portion of all this beauty, largely still wild. The roadmap for II Aparados Off Road will be defined in the coming months. One thing is for sure: the incredible scenarios are still on the menu.
